EKKI HOMA ropes in former Grundfos India MD Ranganath as chief advisor

EKKI HOMA, the Indo-German joint venture between EKKI Pumps (India) and HOMA Pumpenfabrik GmbH, has roped in former Grundfos Pumps India managing director and an industry venteran NK Ranganath as chief advisor.

With more than four decades of experience in the water technology and industrial sectors, Ranganath brings deep market insight and extensive leadership expertise. During his tenure as Managing Director of Grundfos Pumps India, he played a key role in building the Indian organization and successfully driving its strategic growth and scale-up, the company said in an official statement.

In his advisory role, Ranganath will work closely with the board and leadership team of Ekki Homa, providing strategic guidance on growth priorities, distributor development, governance and organisational capability building as the joint venture expands its footprint in India.

“I have known Ranganath for over 15 years, and we are delighted to have him associated with Ekki Homa. RNK brings deep strategic insight and a proven track record of building scale in the global water-technology sector. His association further strengthens Ekki Homa’s leadership as we expand our manufacturing capabilities and market presence”, said Ekki co-CEO Kanishka Arumugam.

HOMA is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of wastewater pumps and continues to systematically expand its presence in India through its partnership with the EKKI Group — combining German pump engineering excellence with strong local manufacturing and service capabilities.

EKKI HOMA looks forward to working closely with Ranganath and to the next steps in the continued growth and development of the joint venture in India, said the statement.

“Ranganath’s deep understanding of the technical and operational requirements of the Indian sewage market will reinforce the joint venture’s focus on delivering robust, long-term solutions to real on-ground challenges”, said Homa Pumpenfabrik GmbH CEO Hans Hoffmann.
